Songs From Mountains East and West CD Cover Photo Shoot

My thoughts sure have changed since the making of my first CD Tango Tree all those years ago!
I couldn't get Tango Tree out fast enough I was so eager just to say I had a CD! The result being a pretty poor product I think.
I cringe listening to these tracks I recorded so long ago. Where as the lyrics aren't so bad ...the arrangements on some of these songs could surely use some improvement! And my out of tune voice here and there. Maybe someday I'll go back an re-record. Probably not though. It would be hard to re-live these songs. ANYWAY...Here I am in labor with this next CD which I'm really proud of! I've done a lot of research and have learned that in my older age. I LOVE HISTORY! And I'm taking my time with the release making sure its up to my new Type AAA standards. My goal with the new CD is that when I listen to it years down the road I'm not gonna say...Oh I should of re-recorded this song.
Tomorrow I'm going to see my 95 year old grandmother and I hope she's there so to speak. My grandmother Eleanor Swan was a true historian and wrote up both sides of the Swan Brown family tree history. I'm proud to have a little of this historical curiosity cruising through my blood! Thanks Gramma.
I haven't seen her in years as my father said there really is no sense in visiting her as she wouldn't remember you anyway!
Well I'm going. I feel bad enough for not visiting!
Anyway again here are a few shots of my dear friend Rich Grant in his awesome downstairs studio photographing some artwork my manager girl friend Cathy Light found while garage sailing! She bought this artwork more for the old oak frame it was encased in. I caught a glimpse of this behind some other pieces of art work while visiting her and fell in love with it! So she gave it to me! WOW! Thanks again Cathy if you read this!
Its ironic how when you put it out there something you need...Me a CD cover...then BAM there it is. Lucky for me the artwork wasn't signed by the artist who did it so that will save me time in googling the artist to get permission like I had to do with "Patchoult Room" and Denise.
So here are just a few shots! Oh and I know where I'm going this winter when the winter blues hit! Rich's studio! These huge bulbs are about as bright as miniature stars and sure to lighten up the darkest mood! They also cost 75 bucks a piece! What we artists won't do for our callings!
